The lively pulse and thematic material establish a nice Celtic feel to begin this catchy selection.  A flute and bassoon duet (bassoon is cued  for baritone) first present the tuneful and infectious melody that is soon shared throughout the ensemble.  A slow melodic section that features alto sax is then followed by a return to the jaunty lilt and ends with a flourish.  A charming selection!
