Fugue on a Theme by Corelli
Publisher Desc.
Johann Sebastian Bach is the most iconic figure of the Baroque Period; however, during his lifetime, he was revered more for his phenomenal keyboard skills rather than his compositions. A prolific composer and arranger, Bach composed hundreds of scores throughout his lifetime with many of his compositions serving a specific purpose (quite often music education!). Fugue on a Theme by Corelli was composed on a theme by the Baroque violin virtuoso Arcangelo Corelli. This arrangement is for the wind section of the band and does not include percussion parts.
