Call Me Darling
This sultry and lush arrangement was written by Nelson Riddle for Ella Fitzgerald's 1962 album "Ella Swings Gently with Nelson." This is a studio orchestra arrangement featuring a string section along with a full big band. An optional synthesizer part is included that may be used in place of the strings. This publication, which is based on the original Riddle score and is not a transcription, features a tenor sax solo section that was cut for the master take on the recording. Both alto saxophones and tenor saxophone 1 double on flute and piano doubles on celeste. This is Riddle at his finest!
