"Tiered Tunes" is a new type of young band arrangement designed specifically to appropriately challenge all members of a band despite a wide variation of skills levels. All tiers are included for all instruments. In Butterflies, the first pass is a unison statement of the pretty, flowing melody using just the "first five" notes. Next, Tier Two diverges to a slightly more demanding countermelody and Tier 3 adds a more intricate countermelody, requiring a bit more range, soaring over the top.
