This piece can also work for a soprano sax, tenor sax or even a bari sax quartet as the piece makes use of the full practical range of the saxophone. Note: this piece would not be ideal for a true sax quartet with the full family at the parts are not transposed. Make note of the C#s throughout the piece as they are a key color throughout Blue Rose as well as a great tool to practice focusing on the tone and intonation of this tricky note.
