Publisher Desc.  The last glimmers of sunlight disappear upon entering the Bathypelagic Zone, or Midnight Zone, of the ocean. Alienesque creatures that live in the complete darkness of this zone create their own wondrous bioluminescence. As they disappear once one catches a glimpse of them, these life forms leave us up to our imaginations, speculating about what really is in the abyss. This concert band piece captures the amazement of the deep as it slowly turns into something more and more unknown and desolate.
