Here are two patriotic songs for beginning bell players. Playable on handbells, tone chimes or hand chimes, these arrangements of "America (My Country 'Tis of Thee) and "America the Beautiful" are perfect for a first concert, and especially useful for Veterans' Day or other patriotic holidays. Using only 15 bells from a standard two octave set, these short pieces can also be used by more experienced players with limited rehearsal time and/or limited performance space. Each piece takes between 1 and 1:30 minutes to play. These are familiar standards that players and audiences of all ages can appreciate. Like most of my two octave arrangements, this is a reproducible product. This piece may be purchased as a score for one performing group, and copies made for the members of that one performing group. Save money and space while allowing for more flexibility in annotating from year to year.
