It Came Upon the Midnight Clear

This a cappella setting of the traditional carol opens with a spotlight on the tenor section with background choir "oohs." The second stanza is more homophonic, and in the third, the carol is sung canonically. Delicate harmonic shading provides touches of color as angels wing their way through the night sky. Lovely.
