This mambo with a two-beat feel and syncopated melodic line could easily have been used as a TV theme. Exceptional section and ensemble writing make it a great chart to show off all players. There's suggested or improvised solo space for tenor 1 and trumpet 2. Alto 1 has an optional flute double and tenor 1 has an optional clarinet double. Optional parts are included for flute, clarinet, horn in F and tuba for expanded instrumentations. Nice change-of-pace programming!
