The majestic splendor of California's Yosemite National Park inspired this music, and the work is indeed inspiring!  From the opening horn call to the final pianissimo chord in the woodwinds, sweeping melodies and profound harmonies portray the grandeur and beauty of nature with striking effect!  Highly recommended!
