Veni Emmanuel 4
Publisher Desc.
Advent is a time of awaiting magical promises. This simple and haunting rendition of "Veni Emmanuel" (O Come, O Come, Emmanuel; 15th century, France) perfectly embodies that special feeling of wonder as we await the coming of the Christ Child.
From the little gems series and scored for a quartet, it is set for 3 octaves (with optional 5th ringer bass part in the lower 4th/5th octave) with options for Bell Tree solo (C6-C7) or soloist (or 2, 3 or 4 ringers) on bells or a separate set of chimes.
All ringing parts are reproducible for individual ringers and a director's score is included to see the 'big picture'. The original score was written as a 3 oct. beginners' quartet (with two on bells, one on chimes and one on Bell Tree). For 2 octave options for a small ensemble and for the full choir versions of 2 or 3/5 octaves (with Bell Tree or Solo/Duet/+ options using either a partial ensemble or a piano for accompaniment) see "Veni Emmanuel A & B" (RE8510AB) - scored for these purposes. Breath in slowly and enjoy this truly lovely piece.
