This a cappella setting of the Maundy Thursday Latin hymn Ubi Caritas was composed for the royal wedding of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton. It was first performed by the Choirs of Westminster Abbey and Her Majesty's Chapel Royal, St. James' Palace at Westminster Abbey on Friday, April 29, 2011. While challenging, this piece is a beautiful addition to the liturgical choral and concert repertoire due to its colorful chords and sensitivity to the overall message of the text.
