Publisher Desc.  This is a delightful Japanese/English folk song the composer learned from her Japanese 5th Grade teacher in 1964, and a wonderful end-of-school year piece. The piano accompaniment is in Bb, however, it can also be sung without accompaniment. The vocals are pentatonic. It is unison with an Alto solo; however, the solo can also be sung by a Soprano.
