The Storm

Publisher Desc.  THE STORM I. The Anticipation II. The Arrival III. The Aftermath This work can represent to the listener either the literal or the figurative interpretation of a storm. The Storm is a three movement continuous work, with no breaks between each movement. This is intentional as during a storm, there may be a lull, and time may feel as if it slows down, but it never stops moving. The first movement is presented as the anticipation, when you know that The Storm is coming, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. The second movement, faster pace and more intense, is the actual storm, and the resolve to survive through the moment. The final movement represents rebuilding and reflection. The last moments of this work are a tribute to the memories that will always remain of the event, but acknowledges the hopeful and uncertain future that awaits.
