Level 2 takes the student from the early intermediate to the intermediate level and includes several beautiful supplementary books to enhance the student's musical experience.  New concepts include two new bass styles (broken chord and waltz bass); syncopation; minor chords, scales, and key signatures; triads and inversions; augmented and diminished triads; triplet rhythm; ledger line and space notes; perfect and major intervals; the chromatic scale; sixteenth notes; and dotted eighth note rhythm. All pieces of the Piano Course serve to apply and reinforce new concepts.
