The hymn tune PUER NOBIS NASCITUR is set to multiple texts, allowing this piece to be used for Easter, Advent, Epiphany, or for general times. Adding to the piece’s flexibility, it works for a wide range of bells with optional 2-5 octaves handchimes. Mallet work accompanies stanza 1 of the hymn and in stanza 2, thumb damps accompany the melody on chimes. The last stanza has a return of the accompanying mallet work, finishing with chords and powerful martellatos.
