Publisher Desc.  "Sonata No. 2 in F Major" (2022) is a solo saxophone piece with piano accompaniment for intermediate to advanced players. This piece explores much of the range of the saxophone with a soaring "A" theme and a more technical "B" theme. While the exposition of this sonata sings, the development is more challenging, and it is meant to improve the technique of a high school/college-level student. After a cadenza, the main themes return and end in a soft yet hopeful conclusion. Throughout this piece, there are several opportunities for vibrato experimentation and musicality.
