Somerset County, Pennsylvania is the inspiration for this overture. It is dedicated to the many residents who, over the past several years, have worked tirelessly to create a proper and fitting tribute to the heroes of Flight 93 that went down in a grassy field on September 11, 2001. The music is simply meant to remind us that we should never forget the brave acts of those citizen soldiers who fought valiantly to protect our freedoms.
