Inspired by the wild and fragile beauty of the high desert of New Mexico, this original concert work encourages us to give thanks for nature while challenging us to steward it well. Beginning in unison and growing to four-part harmony, it adds layers of interest with the notated parts for hand drum, body percussion, and both soprano and tenor soloists or small groups. Effective!
