An impression of parents' playtime with their children, this work is imaginative, joyful, quirky, and briefly tender. Fun and accessible for both the performers and audience, this work is melodically and harmonically interesting with a few asymmetric rhythmic figures contributing to the playful vibe of the piece. There are solos for piccolo, tuba, and clarinet along with a significant percussion section feature. Compelling and delightful!
