Patrick Liebergen has skillfully arranged this light, energetic Purcell masterwork in editions for today's SSA and two-part treble choral groups. It's an excellent concert or festival work with solid part writing and dynamic variations. Optional parts for two flutes add color and some judicious repetition in the vocal parts makes it easy to learn. This is a true classic for treble voices, and an excellent teaching tool for earlier music styles. Masterfully done!
