Publisher Desc.  Commissioned by Steve Westfall and Adams Middle School in Prestonsburg, KY, this is a setting of Steven Foster's "My Old Kentucky Home" for Flex Ensemble. This is designed for a middle school group or small high school group with flexible instrumentation, optional (and flexible) percussion parts, and a bass line that can be played by any bass clef instrument. Melodies are set with the higher pitched instruments, and the lower pitched instruments with chords and harmony. Any percussion part may be omitted as needed. Mallets may be played on 1 or 2 mallets, or one on each part. This can be performed with as little as 3 or 4 students as a chamber group as well.
