Lieberfreud, or Love's Joy,is truly a classic xylophone solo within the mallet repertoire.  Accompanied by piano, this can also stand alone as a masterpiece mallet solo which can really be played on either xylophone or marimba.  This is perfect for any audition, recital, concert or just for pure musical enjoyment.  All percussionists should perform this composition at some point in their musical development as it truly is a gem of a mallet solo!  Enjoy.
