Reminiscent of an old Celtic air, this anthem sings of a longing for our eternal home, a place where "sorrows are remembered no more in the presence of the King." Faithful text declamation is aided by the use of mixed meter and an uncluttered choral texture. The piano accompaniment is very satisfying alone or paired with the optional string quartet.
