Book F allows the student to continue at the intermediate level while having exposure to classic melodies through carefully edited and arranged versions.  Several more advanced concepts are presented in this volume, including quintuplet note groups, double dotted notes, two against three, and 9/8 meter.  Historical commentary and practice hints are also found in this volume.
