Part Three includes tunes and instruction at the late elementary level. Half and whole steps are explained as part of an introduction to the major scale. The keys and scales of C, G, D, A, F, Bb, and Eb are covered and are also included in the scale and chord summary at the end of the book. Other concepts covered include phrasing, articulating two and three notes in a slur, crossing hands and changing hand positions within one piece, wrist staccato, crescendo and diminuendo, chords and inversions.  A lively Cake Walk Duet for student and teacher is found in Part Three. The book ends with a glossary of musical terms and expression marks used.
