A cappella Publisher Desc.  This modern but approachable motet is inspired by the classic setting of the same gospel text (John 14:15-17) by Thomas Tallis. My version, marked by expressive diatonic tone clusters and canonic treatment, offers a refreshing alternative to the Tallis.
