Got the Blues to Haunt Me has a syncopated Latin feel that moves along nicely. Lots of rich chord harmonies. The easy skeletal presentation leaves lots of room for added notes and syncopated improvisations. Dynamics and phrase markings are purposely limited, allowing the student to develop the thoughtful skills needed to play musically based on the melodic and harmonic contours of the composition.
