Publisher Desc.  Elegy for the Broken is the second movement and heart-wrenching ballad of "Donotian Folk Suite," a suite of folk melodies from the distant, resilient, war-torn, and entirely fictional country of Donotia. It may also serve as a stand-alone work to honor the challenges and trials of those who suffer. While delicate in orchestration, this music is accessible for intermediate to advanced high school or college level musicians, and parts are heavily cued for ensembles who are missing key instruments.
