Publisher Desc.  El Yivneh Hagalil (Song of Galilee) is a traditional Jewish folk song made up of two melodic motifs centered around the texts "The Lord will build Galilee," and "Blessed is the building of Galilee." The work is transferred here as a setting for band in a powerful arrangement that centers around the low brass and low woodwinds, and strong percussion as the drivers of the music. A welcome addition to any winter or spring concert program for the advancing middle school or high school band.
