Imaginations will be sparked by the title alone, but the music of this duet will be the real inspiration for the students.  The driving rhythm patterns in 4/4 meter defy the bar lines and are exciting to play.  Written in D Minor, both parts are equal in difficulty.  The melody appears first in the primo part and is then featured in the secondo part.  The fast tempo and ever-growing dynamics create an aura of drama and excitement.  Both listeners and performers alike are sure to picture a fiery dragon by the time the final bars of the piece are played!
