Publisher Desc.  I wrote this etude for my percussion students during the initial lock-down of COVID. Like everyone, our learning abruptly shifted to online, and this piece came together as something we could work on in our own homes with minimal equipment and still share via video chat. My goal was to create an etude for daily use that allowed percussionists to build stamina and dexterity without needing a significant knowledge of rudiments. The piece includes singles, doubles, accents, and flams in a variety of meters and combinations. It is approachable by all high school percussionists, easy to memorize, and a fun way to build chops either individually or as a class.
