Coronation March

(Brass Quartet - Ceremonial Music)
Giacomo Meyerbeer /arr. Charles Evans - Charles Evans
Publisher Desc.  The Prophet, a grand opera by Giacomo Meyerbeer, premiered in Paris in 1849. In Act 4, the main character is made Emperor with the transfer of crown and scepter set to the music of the famous Coronation March. The regal and stirring march makes a perfect processional or recessional for any ceremonial occasion and this fine arrangement with festive flourishes is a great addition to the working brass quartet library. Scored for two trumpets and two trombones, a French horn substitute part for the tenor trombone is also provided. Duration: 2:20
