This original work was composed to remind everyone that in spite of all the disturbances in our world and in our country, we all have the common thread of a pulse in our veins. A steady pulse is evident in the beginning the piece and interspersed throughout; at times dissonance sections reflect the discord of the world around us. The composer has included text which can be read as the piece is rung, or as inspiration for the ringers. Optional 3-7 octave handchimes.
