Franz Liszt (1811 - 1886) was a hungarian pianist and influential composer. He wrote Weichnauchtsbaum (Christmas Tree) in 1881 for his grandaughter, Daniela. Although made for this purpose, Liszt wrote music that was varied, interesting, and focused on the family activities found around the Christmas Tree. For flute and clarinet duet.
