Publisher Desc.  Having grown up in a place that was full of wasps, I understood what the feeling one may have when encountered by them. This piece embodies the chaos and danger that wasps possess. Many people fear these creatures, and some could lose their lives after being stung by one. I tried to focus that feeling of anxiety an adrenaline when a person is confronted by these creatures and incorporate them into a string quartet. This piece was original done for a composition project during my undergraduate degree. The goal was to test my knowledge of orchestral strings and to use a variety of articulations and styles to develop a piece fit for performance.
