One of the most notable arrangements was made by Joseph Joachim, a renowned Hungarian violinist, and friend of Brahms. Joseph Joachim was a close friend of Brahms and one of the most renowned violinists of his time. He was born in Hungary and had a deep appreciation for Hungarian music.
