The hymn tune Randolph by Ralph Vaughan Williams is the basis for this regal setting.  The text associated with this tune is "God be with you till we meet again."  This piece is very interesting throughout, with varied use of texture, moods, tempi, dynamics, and ringing techniques.  The finale is designed for the whole congregation to sing the hymn with festive bell accompaniment.  This piece would be good especially for those times when we commemorate endings--of handbell seasons, of service by ringers/directors/church staff, etc.
