Commissioned and recorded by QuadroSax of Switzerland, this is one movement from the piece "Memories Arrested in Space" that was inspired by Jackson Pollock paintings of 1947.  Subtitled "Reflections of the Big Dipper," this modern excursion with improvised solos for all is not technically difficult, but it demands strong interpretation skills in the contemporary idiom.  Long pauses throughout serve as pivotal points of reflection for players and listeners alike.  Interesting to learn, fun to perform.
