Program note for: Ballet in the air
Ballet in the air, is a composition that tells the story of one day in the life of a butterfly, who after being chased and caught, three times managed to escape.
Moments of happiness, tension, and sadness are symbolically attached to the story.
At the end of the composition, cherishing its freedom by resuming its ballet in the air, the butterfly reminded the composer of this Irish blessing:
May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun.
And find your shoulder to light on.
To bring you luck, happiness and riches.
Today, tomorrow and beyond.
