A cappella Publisher Desc.  Movement VI from "Stars forever while we sleep" explores Sara Teasdale's autumnal mood as she examines the heavens and laments how the star Arcturus "bringer of spring" leaves the autumn skies so as not to bear witness to the withering of days. This mostly homophonic piece features harmonies alternately stark and rich that foretell the lengthening nights of autumn into winter.
