This stately hymn should not be played too fast. Keep it slow enough to allow for plenty of expression. The sixteenth patterns should sound effortless, while accenting the melody notes. Extra care should be taken to play the last two bars lightly while holding the sustain pedal at just the right place, as marked in the music.
