Cynthia Dobrinski's rousing setting of the Coronation hymn tune is three minutes of festivity that would be an excellent opening selection for any concert or worship service. The lighter second verse with staccato techniques and lush chords provides contrast to the fuller first and third verses. The moving bass lines of the last verse add excitement followed by an energetic coda with just the right amount of shakes. This piece has some rhythmic challenges, but is exciting to hear and play.
