For Bassoon and Piano by Alberto Orefici.

Orefici was a student of Jancourt at the Paris Conservatory. He followed his teachers example by composing the well-known Melodic Studies and Bravura Studies for bassoon. It is not widely known that Orefici composed several pieces for solo bassoon and piano. This Adagio was originally published in Paris in the first decade of the twentieth century.
