Publisher Desc.  America was represented by the Sousa band at the 1900 Paris Exposition where he composed this march for the unveiling of the Lafayette Monument given to France on July 4th. The band toured Europe successfully displaying excellent musicianship. The march is lighthearted and warm in nature, tuneful and with a flowing counter melody. Full Score Grade 3
