Back To Basics Piano Method is an audiation method. Sound before sight. The methodology is divided equally between note reading pages and rote learning pieces. The Middle C range is not used at this level. Why? Because it is harder to learn and less comfortable for young children. Book 1 is the 1st book in this series. There are 10 books all together, beginner to advanced.
