The beloved Appalachian folksong is presented in all its simple beauty with these two compatible settings, one for 2-3 octaves and one for 3-5 octave groups.  Effective when played by either handbells or handchimes, it moves quietly from measure to measure with minimal bell changes and easy techniques such as shake and echo.  It is a marvelous setting to introduce your beginning ringers to this hymn, or a simple-to-prepare, prayerful addition to the repertoire for more capable ensembles.
