Our Great Redeemer's Praise
The traditional Charles Wesley text is combined with the buoyant tune, LYNGHAM, to create a rousing anthem. A regal first stanza is followed by a legato treatment in the second stanza. The third stanza, set in relative minor, beautifully paints the text. The regal style returns in the last stanza for a triumphant ending. Parts for 3–5 octave handbells are available separately, as are score and parts for trumpets 1 &2, trombones 1 & 2, horn in F (sub. for trombone 1), tuba, percussion, timpani, and organ.
