Publisher Desc.  "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" is an English Christian Easter hymn in long meter originally composed by Samuel Medley. It was published in 1775 and was written for Easter Sunday. The hymn is most commonly set to the tune "Duke Street", composed by John Warrington Hatton, about whom little is known except his place of residence, on Duke Street in St. Helen's (England). This arrangement has been expertly scored for 3-octave handbell choir by John Wernega. With its moving, syncopated rhythms and gorgeous harmonies, this will be a springtime selection you will program for years to come!
