For the Beauty of the Earth
Bullard's graceful original melody, paired with the traditional hymn text, flows nicely through five verses accompanied by organ. Verse one is sung by unison women's voices (optional solo), and verse two by mostly unison men's voices. Four-part voices are featured in the remaining verses, each responding to the text with varying harmonies, textures, and dynamics before building to a praise-worthy conclusion.
